We rely on maximum fresh flowers from suppliers we trust. We do not buy at the cheapest places, but at those with the shortest possible delivery routes, this keeps the flowers young. Our bouquets have a durability of at least five days, we are committed to this. Biologically unavoidable exceptions are certain delicate summer specialties such as anemones, poppies, lilacs, outdoor and scented roses, zinnias, dahlias, vetches and lotus; to the offers ➤

Sandra Maarsen, owner and managing director of Blumen Maarsen AG, is a Swiss certified master florist and has worked in her profession in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ecuador and the USA. In 2008 she took over the business from her father, Christiaan Maarsen, Dutch with Switzerland as his choice home. The location of Blumen Maarsen, Moserstrasse 9 in Bern, was formerly Blumen Bracher, where Christiaan Maarsen worked from the seventies; he then took over the business in 1985 and it was now called Blumen Maarsen. Sandra Maarsen continues to cultivate her Dutch roots, speaks the language and also enjoys shopping for flowers at florist markets there; to the historical photos ➤
