Meadow saffron (colchicum autumnale) is a toxic but beautiful plant used in medicine. It originates from West Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean region.
You can order from us single bulbs at CHF 9.00 and place them on a plate, e.g. in your living room, without watering them. The flower sprouts within 3 to 5 weeks without needing care or water. The bloom lasts one to two weeks. After bloom you may plant them in your garden, or give them to a garden owner as a gift.
We mail or bring the bulbs wrapped in paper, so you don't have to worry that you will receive a big wooden box as the one shown in the picture!
